The best mice i've ever had. The numpad is adjustable for your length of thumb which is really cool.using this for 9 months and haven't had any problems yet

Wireless here we go!I have been using the wired version of the scimitar as my last 2 mouses for ages each mouse lasting 5-6 years before deciding to replace it due to just age and good sales nothing actually wrong with them.Finally decided to grab the wireless one and I couldn’t be happier, no problems, battery lasts a long time in fact it was full out of the box and after a entire day of it being on with the RGB lighting and everything it’s still full. It will even put itself to sleep if you don’t touch it for awhile only to instantly turn back on when you move it or click without missing a beat!Same build quality durable and will hold up it does have less RGB as the scroll wheel, front of the mouse, and the side light are no longer there. The scroll wheel feels like it has more grip and feels much betterI have had no disconnects lag or drops at all when using it in the wireless 2.4ghz mode even with my router right next to the computer.

The mouse will often not work after the computer has returned from sleep. This happens in both Bluetooth and RF modes.The mouse is far too light and slippery to be useful. Clicking the buttons moves the mouse unless you have an excessively strong grip on it.The top buttons are too light and do not give sufficient feedback when clicked.The mouse wheel cannot be clicked without also scrolling the wheel.The side buttons work well and being able to reposition them is nice.I would like a larger mouse but that's just how mice are made and I understand why they are made small. That did not factor into my rating.I bought this to replace a Logitech G600 that is getting older. The G600 is vastly superior. There is no comparison.I had a wireless Logitech MMO mouse before that which was the best one by far. I forget the model.I also have a Redragon M913 and while quite inexpensive and fairly cheaply made it is also superior to this Corsair Scimitar.

my wife uses this mouse when she plays wow and star wars the old republic mmo. for the most part he mouse works well but there are times where the key binds assigned to the thumb buttons will randomly "stop working" She will check her key bind which will still be assigned but the mouse doesn't work. the fix for this so far has been to unplug the USB Bluetooth connector and just plug it back in but it is annoying when you are in the middle of a raid and your mouse stops working.

ICUE DOES WORK -At the time of this writing there is only one other review posted and it says ICUE does not work. That it false. To be fair, the mouse did not register for me in ICUE at first, either. But the cause is fairly obvious. They are using an old version of ICUE... from before this mouse even existed. Literally all you need to do is update the software. I attached screenshots proving it shows up and works, along with what software revisions they are on right now. Yeah, that's it... just update your software. There is a button in the corner.For the mouse itself, it is ALMOST identical to the old wired version. There are a few minor aesthetic downgrades. For some reason they removed the RGB in the mouse wheel, plus the light in front of the side buttons is gone too. Also, it has one less button on the top, behind the mouse wheel. The fit and feel is the same.I would certainly be happier without those random minor downgrades, but they are super minor and the upgrade of FINALLY having a wireless version of this mouse is 100% worth it. I love this mouse and have been on the lookout for a wireless version for years. It is the best MMO mouse, and now finally wireless.

I was hoping for a white mouse. Corsair had one but I had to give up white for the Scimtar. Software and hardware integration work with perfection. Easy install and easily moved into production / play. I’m able to use it in a non supported OS and all the promised OS’es. Binded with the 60 series keyboard without difficulty. I’m able to run 4 different drivers for 4 mice and 4 keyboards at the same with only trivial issues on my favorite OS. (I’ve only had it going 24 hours so the trivial stuff is probably on me.)The mouse is very easy to use. It has a rubberized coating. The Corsair logo the middle button and the numeric right thumb keypad are all lit up with RGB. Comes with a long cord. Middle button triggers DPI.I love the mouse. Nice job Corsair! Sweet device!

I will summarize:The software is horrible to the point of nearly unusable. Even uninstalling it is a massive ordeal.Lots of little nooks and crannies make it very difficult to clean. If you are a heavy user, you WILL get disgusting buildups of dead skin and oil between the side buttons and on the scored rubber on the right hand side. Very gross and difficult to clean short of gently scraping it out with a toothpick or something.I had difficulties after about six months with polling rates. The mouse doesn't "stop on a dime" anymore, if that makes sense. If I move the mouse and suddenly stop, it will continue moving for a few pixels. It's not a dealbreaker, but the fact that it began happening after about six months is frustrating.Now, all that said, it's a very comfortable mouse despite having so many buttons. I have very large hands and it's difficult for me to find a mouse that isn't trying to be as small and light as possible. The buttons are adjustable and it just feels right to use.BUT, the buttons are also overkill. Unless you are an absolute MMO fiend, you will use MAYBE three of them, and that's pushing it (pun intended). The buttons near the back, are easy enough to reach with your thumb, but even the second row of buttons are hard to reach without moving your entire hand, and that's coming from me and my massive orangutan mitts.So, it's not a terrible mouse, but you can do better and cheaper.
