Filters water outta the fridge.
Easy to install. Takes a little bit of wrist torque to install, twist and lock into place at the hard stops. Tips: Before ordering, take a look at the filter model number installed in your fridge to avoid ordering the wrong part (as we did). After replacement and flushing, get rid of the old ice in your ice maker tray, then wash and dry it so you have fresh filtered-water ice cubes. Clean water with old filter cubes will yield bad tasting ice water. Replace filter every six months. Our fridge has an indicator as to when to replace the filter but we can usually taste the decline in water quality after about five months. Because: Florida hard water.

Easy to install, great tasting water
I have replaced the filter twice in our new refrigerator, and on both occasions, I used this particular filter. It is very easy to install, with minimal water leakage during the replacement process. The water tastes fresh and clean, and as one of the manufacturer-recommended filters, it fits perfectly in our fridge. It performs as expected, and I have not encountered any issues with it. This is a product we will continue to purchase since properly filtered water and its taste are important to us. Considering we replace it several times a year, I find the price to be reasonable too.

Just Better!
Back I go to the LG name brand. I've tried the off brands that claim to be as good or better than the refrigerator brand, but they're just not. There are times I get funky tasting ice and water with them and I just don't think they do as good at filtering. The only downside I have to the LG filters is that I have to run about a quart or 2 of water through them to get the "new" taste out, but that just shows they're actually filtering the water. They're worth a few extra $$ for the taste and peace of mind!

They Work As Rated
These work just fine in LG refrigerators. Like all water filters, they are quite pricey and they must be flushed first which is a hassle, but necessary. Capacity is small by design, which of course sells more filters! Filtration quality seems to meet NSF standards. (Note: I did not send to independent lab to verify this, I relied on taste and clarity.)

Works as expected. The real deal. Will be ordering again. I always order a replacement one when I swap them out so I have one one hand and don’t have to think about whether I have one or not when the light comes on the fridge to replace it.

Easy to use
Got here in less than 5 hours from when I ordered it. Now I don’t have to drink unfiltered water. Easy to replace but takes a while for it to start being fully filtered.
