Enables transfer
I am disabled (call a spade a spade) following a spinal injury last year. I use a wheelchair and am unable to walk or even stand. For a while I have wanted to be able to transfer from my wheelchair into a car. This board is excellent for me. It is longer than some banana boards (and straighter). It is light and the hand slots enable me to position it without assistance. The smooth surface also assists in making the transfer. Would recommend.

Freedom
I purchased the board to help me get in and out of the car (I drive an automatic and have recently had a bellow the knee amputation of my left leg) this board has given me the ability to transfer from my wheelchair into the car and I am back driving again. It is excellent quality, sturdy in construction and easy to use. It has without a doubt given me bay my freedom.

It does the job.
Great for what it does. Even I who have limited balance can manage to use it safely. My only complaint is in Amazon's wording. The word Handicapped belongs in the 1970s. It's considered highly offensive and even doctors don't use it.
