Well built and compact
This tripod feels very well built and sturdy, and is a great price. Have not had any issues with any parts coming loose. The 360 ball head allows for precise adjustment which is great. The quick release base plate is also a great addition, very convenient. The tripod is able to extend to be very tall but also is able to collapse into a fairly compact size considering its height and capabilities. I am able to fit it in a large tote bag, or just carry it around in the case that comes with it. Have not used the phone mount but it seems well made. I have not had it very long so I cannot vouch for how well it holds up, but it seems like it will last a good while

I wholeheartedly recommend the K&F Concept tripod.

seems like a packable travel tripod for DSLR level camera.
Camera enthusiast level consumer, and I have DSLR eqmipment. So, lightweight tripods are out. I already own a Neewer Carbon fiber tripod which is frankly infinitely better than this one. But, it was more costly, so that is fair. However, the Neewer is really not very packable for something labeled as a travel tripod. I typically remove the camera mount, and is is still bulky in my duffle. This K&F seems good for travel. With the camera mount on, it is 8" shorter than my Neewer. With the Neewer camera mount off, this one still on, it is 4.4" shorter. Also, it comes in at about a pound lighter. Now, after a little tinkering, I immediately removed the K&F camera mount, and traded it for my Neewer one; The K&F could be called functional, but not friendly (and likely not durable with all the plastic). The Neewer mount is much better. This did add a little weight, and maybe .5" in length. I will not ditch my better tripod, but I will appreciate this (with the mount modification) when I am traveling.About that plastic: There is a LOT of plastic on the K&F. Good plastic, but still plastic. This is understandable for the price range, so longevity is a question here. Still, it seems to tighten down well. I certainly wouldn't use it with all the legs fully extended, and the center portion raised up (I feel it may not be too stable in anything but still weather conditions), but I don't intend to do that. But, for a tripod to get my camera a few feet off the ground, with my DSLR (and up to my 70-200 lens) for some .5-3 second shots, it will do.

Fantastic little tripod.
An absolutely fantastic tripod. Very easy to set up right out of the box, and has good instructions with visual aid. It was the perfect height for a travel tripod, and fit right inside of my backpack. Had no issues with any stability, and was able to take photos very well on it with both my Micro Four Thirds Olympus, and my phone. Perfect for travel of any kind, or as a main tripod.

Broken after a year of use
Be cautious, as it’s an excellent choice for the price. It meets most travel tripod requirements but struggles with heavier builds, especially balancing and keeping the ball joint locked. Otherwise, it’s similar to other K&F products. If you’re familiar with them, this one is no different in quality. Mine broke at the twist tighten point where the center tube meets the supports. Remember to not over-tighten it.
