Quality Materials - Comfortable & Durable - Sturdy
There are 4 things I was looking for when purchasing a new office chair for extended seating times (working from home all day).* First, I wanted a chair that wasn't made of cheap plastic components and a cheap mesh backing.- This chair has first quality vinyl (not plastic components) arm rest surfaces and seat backing surround.- The arm rests are secured by metal (not plastic) supports and has a chrome finish.- The base of the chair is metal (not plastic) and has a chrome finish.*Second, I wanted a chair that was comfortable for extened periods of work (all day).- This chair has the most comfortable cushion with a durable black fabric which has a matte finish.- The arm rests are adjustable with a firm but cushion(y) feel and which has a low sheen finish.- The lumbar support is very very good and adjust up and down for comfort.- The chair adjusts in height easily and can rock nicely (adjustable tension) or be locked upright.*Third, I wanted a chair that was both sturdy and would last a long time.- This chair is well made and feels solid when you sit down (no creaking or squeaking).- The seat is wide but with the solid armrests it doesn't look too big if you want something stylish.- I am 6'2 and weigh 300 pounds and my spouse is 5'8 and weights 135 pounds. We both like the chair.I hope this helps someone when making a decision - I looked and read about other chairs for about a week before selecting this option. There was another chair that I liked a lot, but this one having the 500 pound capacity made me feel confident in its durability. However, I wanted something that looked nice when parked under the desk for our home office. This one looks great and is very stylish as well.

comfy, taller than normal chair
Although this chair is several inches taller than a normal chair - which lives up to the "Tall" part of the description - I really like this chair. The seat is wide and comfortable. I ended up buying a back support attachment because the back doesn't tilt and leans too far back for me when I'm working but it's great for gamers who like to learn back while playing. It's extremely sturdy and I put on my office chair roller blade wheels instead of the thinner plastic ones. Overall great buy even with my modifications.

The armrests do not stay in place!!!
The armrests are adjustable, but they do not stay in place! Any slight movement or change of your sitting position when your arms are on the armrest will force them to change the direction they are facing, sometimes digging into your body, sometimes leaning out too far to support your weight.I've tried to adjust the bolts in the bottom and other things, nothing has helped.Aside from the armrests it's a great chair. That's why I've given it four stars. It's comfortable, it was easy to put together, at least as is relative to putting office chairs together. The back supports well. It can clearly hold enough weight to support me, which is nearly the highest weight it claims to be able to support. The wheels roll well even on carpet. The materials that make up the chair are very sturdy. All in all it was well worth the money. But the dang armrests are so annoying!I used to have a chair that allowed you to adjust the armrests in a somewhat similar fashion, but you could widen them from the base where they attached to the chair, not at the top where the armrests are.

Update to previous review (Nice chair but...)
Update: My original review is listed below (rated 3), as you see, I've changed it to a 5 rating. To my surprise the company reached out to me and offered to replace the chair. In a world where customer support has all but been forgotten, I must admit that I thought it was a prank. It wasn't. They asked me to choose another chair and I did; it was slightly more expensive but was the only one that offered lumbar support. It was delivered quickly, and it is simply a great, comfortable chair. Oh, and did I mention all of this at no charge! Thank you Colamy Home for both the replacement chair and restoring my faith in customer service! Original chair review: This is a nice, sturdy chair. However, like most office chairs, this one too appears to be made for people with small behinds. Understand, the seat is absolutely plus-sized, however, if you have any "junk in the trunk" there is no back support. The curved more ergonomic design reeled me in, yet there is no way to adjust the backrest. Yes, there is a lumbar support which you can push up, however, it does nothing to allow for the natural curves of those of us who are...rounder. Which means that the seat actually ends up being too big and you are either forever trying to scooch back or end up sitting toward the front of the seat (which the instructions warn you against).

Big Amazing Chair, Very Strong, Heavy Construction and Easy Assembly
When the driver arrived I could tell by this young mans labored carrying of the box that it was heavy. Sure enough it was. It is very heavy, but for a reason. As I got the box inside I slowly took the parts and realized why. The construction of this chair is amazing. Almost all steel, hence the weight, and they did not spare any cost providing very stout components. The assembly was simple. My wife and I had it together in no time and could not believe how good it felt. I am 6' 1" and unfortunately weigh around 330 lbs. Working on lowering that second number. Every chair I brough home for the office has slowly been broken over time, usually in areas where they used plastic instead of steel components. This chair feels durable and is great for my aching back. My wife is 5'1" and can use the chair though she looks like Lily Tomlin on that rocking chair on Laugh In. It is big. This is only day 2 so I can't speak to the durability, but by the look and feel off it, it will last. The only suggestion I would make is to buy the suggested wheels. That is the one area that could be stronger in my most humble of opinions. I have the wheels inbound and will replace the stock ones. The stock ones are probably good enough, but the rest of the chair is strong, they seem out of place. As of today, I highly recommend this chair.
