Easy to use. Like the dropper a lot causa I noticed that it hits my bloodstream faster and I sleep sooner. Helps a lot with sleepless nights. I take it as I need it to sleep. I have to make sure I set a few alarms cause I sleep very soundly and it’s not easy to wake up the next day (very drowsy). If you need something to help you sleep, though, this is definitely worth taking!Note: Be aware that there are side effects associated with this sleep aid, just in case you experience them. I got this for my DOG. She is 50 pounds. She was getting up every night, walking around being sleepless and waking us up! I don't like to give her ( or me) prescription or without trying anything thats not natural first. THIS WORKED! Finally my dog can sleep through the night- even on the lowest dose!The taste is awful but absolutely worth it.

It did actually put me to sleep that’s why 3 stars. I did half of what the dropper is whatever that is a half a milliliter? Before bed I did fall asleep to wake up two hours later and not able to fall asleep like I have been doing every night. It took about an hour to go back to sleep only to wake up an hour later and staying awake until my alarm clock went off. The entire day I could not stay awake to save my life! It was almost impossible to stay awake at work all day! That’s the whole reason why I took it before bed the night before so I can get plenty of sleep so that I can stay awake all day. This product failed miserably. I was more tired throughout the day than I normally would have been if I didn’t take it tonight before I don’t think I will be using this anymore. But just because it did not work for me does not mean it will not work for other people. I have always had problem of sleeping at night.

I suffer from insomnia, I have been using this valerian root extract for 5 or 6 years (over 30 bottles), wonderful stuff! It was sweet, I would put 2 something’s 3 full droppers right on my tongue and swallow. I would feel it’s soothing relaxing effects within 30 minutes. This has been the only product other than pharmaceuticals that works for me, I don’t like pharmaceuticals.Well, they completely changed the formula I guess to totally unpalatable! I just got 2 bottles yesterday and it made me sick the second it touched my tongue! Literally!!!I actually thought maybe just one bottle went bad, tried the other, same thing! It was so bitter and fowl tasting I spit it out on the floor for fear it was contaminated somehow.I know valerian root is strong (been taking it for years) but I’ve never tasted anything so bad.It’s very sad that something that worked so well and was actually tasty is now so crappy!Now I have to search for another product. The liquid worked well because it was absorbed into the system quickly.I don’t care if it has some sugar in it, it worked great! This “new formula” is so bitter I would have to put it into a soda (I don’t drink soda) or something equivalent to hide the terrible taste, and that is crazy!I did call Amazon concerned it was a bad batch, and was told Amazon just took over as the supplier from the previous supplier. They also raised the price and made it cheaper by removing the previous sweater’s? Way to go Amazon! Now I’m heading to Whole Foods, may pay more, but I’ll get a product I can swallow.

I am on my 2nd or 3rd bottle of this. I use it every night. I find that it is helpful. Whereas before I might have several night of no sleep, or very little sleep, I seldom have that anymore. It does seem to be calming. Also, I used to get up to go to the bathroom a lot more often, now it is usually only once a night ( sometimes twice, if I drank a lot of water or juice.) The taste is kind of like licorice, which I really like. I know some people do not, but they could always swallow it fast, and chase it down with water of some other taste they like. The bottle lasts me about 2 months or more. So depending on how you use it, it could last longer... or not as long. It would be hard to say. If I am really anxious, about something that happened during the day, I may use two droppers full, but generally one dropper full, is enough, to calm me down. I will continue to use it.
