Easy to install and very convenient. Attached this to my pickup which isn’t driven much and now it’s so easy to plug my battery tender in.

Used a 7/8" spade bit to cut the hole in the plastic. Some people have said their was wired backwards, but mine was correct. Red was positive on battery, black negative. The pigtail on the port is a decent length, though a tad stiff. The cover is great for keeping it clean in the rain. Really happy with how it looks.

This is a very late review but just got around to installing and could not figure out why no voltage from solar panel to battery. All checked out OK until got to this item. Polarity reversed on this item as one reviewer had previously noted. Checking voltage at the end of the trace from the battery to the output from this item resulted in a negative voltage reading on my multi meter. Buyer beware!!!

I purchased several of these and installed them at various locations on my boat for powering things like cell phones, fish finders, lights, etc. They work well.

Drill a hole, plug and play, makes hooking up the battery maintainer real simple.

Using it for a separate solar panel on my RV while I'm away. Keeping my batteries charged.

I would have given it 5 stars but it shipped with the wrong screws. The appropriate screws for the mounting holes are # 8 pan head, not flat head AND they should be stainless. Even slicker would be black anodized pan heads. Besides that, the quality seems to be good but well see how long the cover will remain on.
