Best Mug Cakes Ever: Treat Yourself to Homemade Cake for One In Five Minutes or Less (Best Ever)

These recipes are quick and delicious. It's so much better to cook just the single portion of these, and then not have a whole cake that needs to be finished up! No lingering sweets just waiting to be pounced on!

I like this book very much but I have two questions. I didnt see a place to ask questions. #1. In the apple pie and cheesecake recipes they both call for 2 graham crackers. Does the author mean 2 full rectangular graham crackers? That seems like a lot for a mug dessert. Also, in the dump cake section she calls for the use of a caramel cake mix. I have never heard of such a cake mix and after a google search I still dont see it. Where can I find it or is it no longer available. I am being nitpicky and thorough. This is a GREAT recipe book. Love it! But would also like to know the answers. Thank you!

Fun book to make as gifts or to sell.

l have been making mug cakes using my own mixture. (Combine 2 boxes of chocolate cake mixes with 1 box of angelfood cake mix: Use 3 Tablespoons, and add 2 T water. Microwave for 1 minute.) This allows me to make a small amount of something sweet without wrecking my diet, and gives me a variety of options. Most of the recipes use liquid egg substitute. I haven't made many of them yet, and some I probably will not make. There are a few that are ridiculous - too much effort for such a small finished product. It also has a recipe for chocolate pudding that is too labor-intensive for one cup! Still a neat book though, and priced reasonably.

I really think I would enjoy these recipes. The pictures are beautiful and it looks as if the author has been really creative with her recipes. My complaint is with the print. For someone my age, having orange print on a white background makes the recipes very difficult to read. I have just one other cookbook in my collection where someone in charge made the poor decision to go for pale print. I am glad that is a rare choice.

These mug cakes are the best. We’ve tried several receipes and they all came out wonderfully. The receipes are easy, using similar base ingredients. I can have my ultra chocolate cake and he can have spiced apple cake. If you’re looking for a quick single serving dessert, this book is for you!

This book has the best mug cake recipes yet! I have other mug cakes cookbooks but this one has the best results. My only issue and why I almost only gave it 4 stars is the recipes are a little repetitive. It takes the same ingredients and adds one more ingredient to change the recipe. The results are so good though, I just had to give it 5 stars.
