Car, Car, Truck, Jeep (New Nursery Rhymes)

I bought this for the car loving little boy I nanny for and he loves it! We read it multiple times daily. The illustrations are colorful and you can sing it to the tune of “baa baa black sheep” or just read it. Great kids book!

UPDATE: 5 months later and I still enjoy reading this book daily! My toddler always sits still to listen and it isn't obnoxious! Love this book!ORIGINAL REVIEW:We originally grabbed this book at the library for my almost 2yo and it was an overnight hit. This is the only book I NEVER get sick of reading, maybe because it's set to such a cute tune. I agree with others that the illustrations are adorable and colorful. My only complaint is that on the page with the hovercraft. First off, it doesn't flow well like the other pages: "Arriving at the harbor by the seaside, hop on a hovercraft such a bumpy ride." And second, hovercrafts are notoriously very *smooth* rides, so we replace the word "bumpy" with "awesome." Besides those tiny, fairly meaningless critiques, this book is one I'm always happy to drop what I'm doing and read. After our library loan expired, we immediately overnighted this book so we weren't without it for a single day. We were thrilled to see there's a new book coming out this April! PLEASE make many more that are set to tunes. They are delightful! I'll be buying these for new moms. Thanks!

My 2 year old loves all cars and moving vehicles, and I pounced on this book! He gets the HUGEST kick when I start to sing him the book to "ba ba black sheep" and loves pointing at the tractor every few pages. When I need to get him on some "quiet time" I whip this book out and we read it again and again! Great simple drawings that are fun and kid inspired!

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased as a gift for my 2yr old nephew; he's obsessed with trucks! I was so excited that this book is so Cute, that I've made my first video review.(Using 1 hand, please be kind to my lack of skill)I love all the different vehicles it shows, and the characters' faces are so happy, the bright colors make it an adorable little book.

Our son loves cars and trucks so this is a real winner. One of his favorite books!

Great Book for your children or grandchildren.It will help them to read.

This is the first book my soon to be 18 month old will pick up and bring to me and ask me to read over and over. He fricking loves it. We do a music class and he loves the songs there and listening to those songs at home, plus he loves flipping through his board books alone or together, so this is like the perfect combination of some of his favorite activities. Looking forward to the pirate one coming out soon, and I hope there’s more to follow!

I have this book in paperback and my granddaughter now aged 5 loved it as a toddler .I now have 2 more grandchildren who also love it. Bright and colourful and in order back easier for them to turn the pages themselves. It's the first book my 14 month old grandson goes to singing the first line Car Car Truck Jeep.

Absolutely love the words that go along with the tune of baa baa black sheep. My toddler (1.5 months) has been fascinated with vehicles and that's the sole reason I purchased this. It has become a hot favourite and we love reading this so much! He looks at a picture of a hovercraft in another book and says 'such a bumpy ride' automatically. We've read it so many times that I could read it in my sleep! Beautiful illustrations as well. Got the 'whales on the bus' as well since we loved this one so much! Good quality pages and a great size.
