Bosch Automotive SR0827X - MERCEDES-BENZ Premium Reman Starter

Looking back, my starter was trying to tell me something for the past 2 years. My battery kept dying so I thought it was the alternator so I replace the alternator and got a new battery. Everything was fine until one day my car barely started. When I got home, it never started again. Luckily, I had already bought this starter from when I bought the new alternator. I was about to sell the starter. Took a few days because it was February but I finally removed the old one and replaced it with this one. My car starts like it is brand new.

This product is the OEM replacement. Easy to replace and keep going. Definitely worth the extra cost over the other branded products

Great replacement starter. Fits on numerous Benz models (Just check to verify before hand). Nicely packaged and quality item. Definitely save compared to a brand new factory unit and more worth than buying a cheap new aftermarket unit.

This starter has been great for me. HOWEVER, I have tried several times to get the rebate information to go through on Bosch's website. I also called Bosch's number. The young lady I spoke with said they were having problems with the orders from Amazon and she would have someone call me. No one called. There is no way to submit a request any other way. So, I have now wasted more of my time than I saved with the rebate or buying this particular starter. So, my review is tainted by this ridiculousness. Just curious if Bosch or Amazon monitors their reviews to ensure customer satisfaction. Bad thing is I own a classic/muscle car shop.
