my birds are happy - lots of daily walnut
very easy to use, walnuts fit in quite comfortably and crack open with ease. i have three parrots who watch me in utter fascination and then dance in the cages knowing that a treat is coming. fits comfortable in my hand and i don't have to have the grip of King Kong to crack nuts.

Picks come in Handy.
My wife uses the nutcracker and picks on pistachio nuts and pecans. She says that the nutcracker is very sturdy for the price. She especially likes the picks for use in getting the broken nut parts that remain in the shell.

I can get the same quality at dollar tree during the holidays. Hatred spending almost$7 because it doesn't feel like it's going to last.

Part of a Thanksgiving project.
I made a plastic canvas nut dish in the shape of a turkey for thanksgiving. The pattern called for a nutcracker and picks to be included in special pockets. This was exactly what was called for, and they look terrific in the nut bowl.
