OOK50614 Professional Picture Hanging Blue Steel Nails, Black/Brass, 30lbs (25 Piece)

I have horsehair plaster walls. These nails are the only nails that work.

I ordered these after looking locally for OOK nails - just nails - for our picture hanging hardware.Could find nothing locally, so resorted to Amazon.This product only includes larger, heavy-duty nails which, in many cases are too large for smaller OOK hooks. These do not "fit" smaller OOK hooks - too large. Therefore, these are useless, except for larger OOK hooks.Live and learn, But, urge OOKs to provide a collection of lesser-weight nails.

Ook puts out a wonderful line of picture hanging products which i have been using for over a decade. they are great. they pull out of the wall easily without leaving big holes i recommend ook nails to so many people especially due to the fact that they do not damage your walls and they hold the weight of the pictures --just get the right hooks for the weight of your item GREAT product

My go to for picture hanging. Attractive nails give you the sense you’re setting up a gallery, not just a living room. Install and remove easily, and are sturdy.

Different sized OOK hooks have slightly different sized nails. Amazon needs to specify which hooks these nails fit to avoid unhappy customers.All I can tell people is that these nails DO fit the padded 50 pound OOK hangers. They are identical to the matching nails. Those are the ones I use most and the only hangers I have loose at the moment. I do not know if they fit the regular 50 pound hangers but they might. IMO the padded ones are better if you want to protect your wall paint. They appear as a choice under "frequently bought together".If you got these nails and they don't fit your hangers you may want to upgrade to the 50 pound padded OOK hangers.I ordered the two pack of nails. I'm assuming the one pack are the same size but until Amazon fixes the ambiguous description who knows.

There are two sizes of Ook nails -- thin and thick. These are the thick ones, made for heavier weight pictures. The nails won't fit the original small sized picture hooks. Alas, that's what I needed! Wish I knew that before ordering.

Just the right size if you want to hang a photo, or need a little nail for just about anything. Plenty long enough, but not too long, Not too narrow or too thick. Just right, and they are even pretty too!

Strong nails but leaves a “biggish” hole. I needed to hang items that probably weigh 1lb less each, these may support 20x that or more. One actually bent, I was really surprised when it happened considering how thick these nails are ( compared to the ones I thought I was getting ).

Have used these nails and the companion OOK hangers/hooks through many moves. They pull out of the wall cleanly and leave a minimal hole. I usually use them with a hanger, but because they have the knob on the end, they can be used alone. In all the moves, I have lost a lot of the nails, so bought these to use with my existing hangers/hook. Only problem is that these are so much thicker than the original ones, that they don't fit through the holes of most of the hangers I already have (even the cheaper nonOOK ones). Alone, they are 5 stars, but gave 4 because they are limited in usage.
