The material is fairly thin, which is nice for being in the sun all day, but it's also prone to tearing, especially at the tiny pockets. Pockets are nice, but not very large of an opening.

Lightweight thin material is great for hot weather. Do not depend on this to keep you warm in any weather!

I'm a 38x30 240lb 5'11" guy. I ordered the XL and they fit fairly well when I tried them on. The only real issue I had was I have large calf muscles and even loosening the laces all the way they were a little tight , however I worked them up over my calves and they weren't too bad. I have tall boots I'll be wearing (Ren Fest) so I really just wanted the knee and up to work. I am a little concerned about durability since they're a little tighter than expected given other reviews (I also have fairly large quads). But I think they're good enough to give a go at the fair. The fabric is 70% poly 30% cotton. It's fairly lightweight so I'll definitely be wearing some compression shorts under them "in case". But I think they're worth the price (at $28). I'll update the review after the faire!

I was reading other people's reviews when I ordered and someone said the 2XL fits perfect for a man's 44inch waist, so that's what I ordered. They're a bit baggy still, I think if you're my size and tend to wear a size 42-44 you could get away with wearing just the regular XL. I bought this for a pirate costume, once I get my boots on it won't really matter, they still fit well. Drawstring at the waist and around the ankles. Honestly they kinda also make nice comfy sweatpants, I can imagine myself just wearing this around the house. I recommend them!

wonderful pants, but on the calf of each leg, very tight, could use spandex to make easier to slide on and off. other than that, yes, I would buy again.

You’re probably gonna need long johns under them if you’re gonna go out & you should buy larger size than you are.

Husband wears an XL but it was way too tight in the thighs. Size up if you have thick thighs!

A little bit see through. The fabric is too thin it feels cheap. After paying over $40 for this you would expect a better product.

The Chinese do not have the same size as us a size small piece of clothes for us is a xl for them the waist was ok but the ankle was very tight.
