Alignment issue is deal-breakingly bad: just use the power cord
The basic requirement of "cradle my device and charge it" is partially met, as long as you carefully align it initially, and the dock and device do not suffer the slightest bump. If they do suffer a bump, it slips out of alignment and becomes a glorified shelf. It functions as designed, but why on earth they designed it this way is a question for the ages. Don't waste the money: a charging cord works fine.

Absolute waste of money.
i’ve never written a review for anything before, but this product is so bad i just had to warn people. Literally just buying a cheap usb type c cable is better than this overpriced plastic waste. For some context, before buying a Vader 4 pro(which i absolutely love) i had an 8bitdo pro controller. That controller is 50 bucks and COMES with a dock. Now their dock is amazing. It’s Magnetic so you don’t have to struggle placing the controller exactly right for it to charge like with this dock. Another thing this dock lacks is replacing the dongle. No instead you plug the dongle into the back of the dock and for me personally it made the connection really bad. The 8bitdo dock also automatically turns on and off their controller when removed and placed on the dock. This dock does not. Please do not buy this dock.

Finicky Alignment, But Wireless Ability.
Lemme see if I can set things right here. It's hard to get the my Vader 4 Pro to rest JUST right on this charging dock, but when it does, you'll be rewarded. And contrary to the review that says there's no wireless functionality, you just have to use a cable that supports charging AND data. They exist everywhere. All in all, alignment is finicky. But besides that, it beats having wired.

It doesn't have any wireless functionality
The listing is untrue. The listing says that this will act as a receiver for the controller. It doesn't, and won't. You have to plug in the wireless dongle/receiver into the back of this. You connect this to your computer and this will charger your controller just fine, and the USB-A port on the back acts as an extension for the USB port you plug it into on your computer. It's expensive considering this, and the fact that you will no longer have a cable in order to get 1000hz polling speed while plugging in the controller.
