🎶 Elevate Your Sound Game!
The OrangeOMEC Teleport USB Audio Interface is a versatile audio tool that allows for mono input and stereo output, enabling musicians to explore stereo effects from a single channel. With an impressive latency as low as 4ms, it ensures instant audio feedback. Its robust yet lightweight design makes it perfect for live performances, and it integrates easily with existing pedal setups using a standard 9V DC input. The buffered bypass feature maintains tonal quality, making it an essential addition to any musician's toolkit.

Great product - cumbersome software
The OMEC does what it says it does. Basically it allows you to use your computer as digital amp and as a recording advice. Downloading the Amplitube Software can be problematic and it required several e-mails and phone calls to Orange-USA's technical support staff for me to get the software installed and downloaded. And then I had to play with the settings so that the audio would be routed to my pc's headphone jack.

Phenomenal! No midi pickup required!
What a brilliant tool! No need for a synth pickup on my guitar but all the benefits. I absolutely love this thing. And I haven't even scratched the surface yet.

Audio Interface and Guitar Processor
The media could not be loaded. This little thing is a miracle. It is an audio interface that connects to your computer to let you record your guitar and it's a pedal that is small enough to fit on any pedal board and allows you to use your smart phone to run apps like Amplitube and process your guitar signal. So it can be a huge number of rack and pedal and amp and cab sims packed in to one little pedal. This pedal and a smart phone is an entire guitar rig for recording or live!

Ships faster than it tracks.
Tried on 4 different machines with different processing power. Latency was the same across the board. In the area of 200-300 milliseconds. Sent back. Completely unusable.

Are you absolutely effing kidding me? No power supply?
Maybe this is disclosed somewhere, but how in the hell do you get away with selling a device that requires a power supply and NOT include the freaking power supply?

10/10
This is a great investment for any musician - no audio interface is this compact, versatile & easy to use...the price point is more than worth it.It has become the only interface I use live & whenever I just need to to record 1 instrument.

It's nothing more than a convenient external soundcard for musicians
First: As a programmer I do like the idea of the Teleport to simple use a computer or smartphone to manupulate the sound just-in-time while streaming. I do use the Teleport on a daily bases to develop and to play with the effects and it works really well. But there are quite a few negative aspects I'd like to point out:POWER SOURCE - There is no power source in the package. You cannot power this via pluggin in a battery and you'll need a very good power source which does not introduce noise to the system. In my first setup (Guitar, Teleport, laptop, headphones with internal amp) I experienced quite some noise which could only be extiguished by connecting the Teleport case to the wall plug's ground.NO POWER VIA USB - yes, you'll need USB plus 9V plugged in although this unit needs less than 100mA and runs with a Step-up convert without any issues. Yes, those step-up parts can be quite noisy but if in any way isolated that does not seem to be a problem as my makeshift solution (see photo) with a 2.5€ DC-DC converter does - without the need to ground my case in opposite to a normal power adapter.SOFTWARE SUPPORT - There is a bundled program for Mac and Windows you can download but aside from that there is not much the producer points to as what can be used to use the Teleport - and that while the Teleport does no sound manipulation whatsoever on its own and mandatorily needs software to be of any use. For Windows you'll need to install the Universal ASIO Driver For WDM Audio (asio4all.org) to get a decent latency of less than 10ms which took me some googling to find out. Then you can use either the highly limited Amplitube program or Cantabile (cantabilesoftware.com) where you can load and chain a lot of free effect and amp plugins (e.g. from vst4free.com). For Android there doesn't seem to be any free software that works with the teleport. The only app I found was Deplike and it charges hard to really use more than one effect (but you can test if it works alright). As I do not and don't want to own an Apple device I cannot tell anything about the support there. In conclusion the Teleport is nothing more than a USB soundcard with convenient plugs for instruments and form factor for a pedal board. It is fun to use but hardly worth the price of 100€ - at about 30€ to 50€ of it and I would recommend buying it. Otherwise a good USB soundcard and plug adapters might be a better choice.
