This does work with the gel blasters as long as they're high enough velocity and the ammunition hasn't started to dry out. It seems to work best if the back side is unsupported. I suspect that makes the ball stay in contact longer so it can transfer more water. Unfortunately that also maximizes the gel balls bouncing back, so do be sure to protect your eyes.The advantage, of course, is that if they bounce instead of splatter, then you can sweep them up and use them again. So it works out.The background is a simple color gradient from top to bottom. Eh. It'll do. If they wanted to make it cool they could do different colors for the different rings of the target. But I expect that would take a lot more precision in lining up their printer, so I totally understand why they don't.It does take a while for the water to evaporate and the color to fade. At least in this weather. Unfortunately the four-year-old has gotten good enough that the long fade time means he blots out the center two rings pretty quickly and then gets a little discouraged when he can't tell where he's hitting.

Bought for a kids party and it was very popular

Super fun- bought for sons bday party! Kids enjoyed it and looks like we'll get more use out of it than I anticipated as it goes back to white after it dries!

Caveat: Your experience may vary based on the velocity of your gel blaster and how wet the beads are on impact, etc. I allowed mine to be quite wet in use.I was pleasantly surprised by the material quality here! I expected thin and fragile, but these are anything but that. The material is pretty hefty and doesn’t seem to tear easily. Your experience may vary based on usage against a hard surface or free hanging in combination with how wet your gel blaster beads are when they hit. If they are drippy wet it won’t matter much and they make very visible marks. If they are more dry on the surface you will need a harder backing for the target. This really goes for anything you shoot at the target with. If you were to use squirt guns you will of course have no issues.I give them an excellent rating as I am surprised at the quality and the good functionality. My expectation was very low, but we’re quite happy with these!

Grandkids loved the target practice

Bought these for the pool for they Grandkids, 4 and 6, and they loved them. It didn't take long for them to dry out so they could be used again. They have already asked if I still have them for this year.

Perfect target to go along with the gel pellet guns! Super easy to use. Made of nice, thick paper/material. The colors are super fun. Dries quickly and look just like new. My kids have used it for hours and hours and have only used one of the targets. All three targets will last forever. Great value for the money.
