Had to take them off, they make the lenses appear really blurry. I have 20/20 vision and these definitely made the image harder to see aswell as blurry. I didn't realise how much they were effecting the image until I took them off, when everything became pixel sharp again.

2 light silicon clear pads in a dry plastic box arrived. They look dry enough that if I touched with provided tweezers I'd mark them, so than rather take the chance I've returned them.

These are extremely unusual protectors.. They are very thick, and that does have an impact on the image.. it definitly is a bit softer/blurrier, however there can be no doubt that this is offering some decent protection for the lenses.They are much better fit that the cheap film style ones I used on my old Quest2, which were fiddly to install and left sticky marks on the lenses when removed or replaced, these are super easy to fit you just drop them on and they self adhere.It'll depend how annoying you find the changed optics how much you like this. Coming from a Q2 anyway its no worse than the Q2 image quality, and the protection is excellent. I really like them.

They turned up in a slim clear box which was necessary for the nature of the protectors. They are almost like a gel, and they peel of the box itself, and easily "drape" onto the meta quest 3 lens. I'm pretty clumsy, but I found it straightforward. They aren't sticky as such, it's electrostatic probably. or something. They supply the usual cleaning kit, which I didn't use because my headset is brand new, but it's there if you need it. They also supply a nice pair of plastic tongs which I didn't use, but I probably should have.The protectors have an easy to grab plastic tab marked L or R which is very nice, as you can see in their photos. As far as I can tell, there isn't much choice right now, and I already tried the other products on amazon, assuming they print my review, it wasn't very complimentary.
