Good product for the price
The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for keeping bottles of our dogs' liquid supplement refrigerated in our basement where we feed them. We would forget it, go back 2 sets off stairs to get out of of the kitchen. Looks nice on the counter, quiet but certainly a new noise while running. Only gets down to 40° F, but it works to keep the product from spoiling. This is the only one that fit below my upper cabinets. Has enough space to hold a few beverage cans behind the bottles. The video demonstrates the noise level in a quiet basement. It is obviously a little louder when you get near it. Again, that's only when it's running. Otherwise, it's totally silent. I would not put this in my bedroom, but I'm old and a light sleeper. Kids probably wouldn't notice it or care about the noise.

Works great!
This was the perfect size for my beverage station. It does fit a lot of drinks but I wish it had more flexibility for different sizes. I have to lay a lot of things flat which is a bit of a waste of space. If you’re wanting to store mostly bottles this might not be the fridge for you. At the end of the day it fits plenty so I can’t really complain. I like that I can lay wine bottles on the top shelf as well. The glass shelf is a nice touch. You can turn the light off or keep it on. I keep mine on because I like how it looks. It’s not perfectly silent but the noise never bothers me. At most it sounds like a quiet dishwasher and that’s only sometimes. Most of the time it doesn’t make noise. I’m someone who is noise sensitive and I think it’s fine.It was really easy to set up and so far I haven’t had any issues. I’ve had it a few months now. Everything looks and feels quality and I’m kind of snobby that way.Having a glass front was important to me so people would feel more inclined to try something. I love having a separate fridge for guests to help themselves. They seem to know that’s what it’s for and I get satisfaction seeing people feel comfortable like that in my home.I looked at a lot of fridges and read a lot of reviews. This is the one I landed on and I’m very happy with my choice.

My beers are happy, I'm happy.
After pulling a numbingly cold stout out of my older fridge, I decided that I need a dedicated beverage cooler for my craft beer assortment. Artic Star has several good reviews by wine & beer sites so I chose to give it a try. The unit I received is 2.3 cu. ft. & all black, there is no chrome trim on the door as pictured. I think it looks better without the chrome. There are 5 plastic coated & removable shelves plus the bottom of the unit which has a step at the back to house the mechanical bits. The bottom (stepped) shelve will hold 10 16oz cans standing up. The removable wire shelves will hold 12 16oz cans each. The lower removeable shelf is 1/2 depth & matches up with the step. I removed the top 2 shelves & used that space for 12 or 16 oz. bottles. No shelf sag was detected. Most brewers recommend that bottles be stored upright, especially if they are corked. Overall, that gives me a capacity of 25 bottles & 34 cans in this configuration. I did not have any corked bombers (22 oz.) on hand to try. That would reduce capacity further but craft breweries are moving to cans anyway. There is a digital readout on the door showing what temperature the unit is set. There are touch sensitive +/- buttons on either side & a lock/light button to the left of that. You'll need a flashlight to read the buttons, they are hidden behind the tint but it's fairly easy to guess where they are. The light is deep blue, almost ultraviolet & looks quite pretty. The compressor is fairly quiet but sometimes there is a humming fan noise that is not annoying & soon goes quiet. I measured 41db. I was not satisfied with the temperature accuracy initially but after a few days it improved to +or- 5 degrees F. After 2 weeks it is approaching it specified range +or-2 degrees F.Overall: it is a nice looking beverage cooler that chills down quickly & doesn't use much power. The temperature control on the door makes setting it to the proper temp for your beverage quick & easy. My beers like their new home.

Waste of money. Don’t bother!
Ugh. So disappointed. Most likely returning. I’ve only had it 2.5 weeks and kept it at 45°. Apparently that’s a problem because it started gathering ice on the interior top roof. It shouldn’t do that as it’s advertised to run at cooler temperatures. Then beginning of week 2, I noticed a random popping noise. The seal is fine so the door is closing and sealing fine. Mind you I barely keep anything in this fridge (as you can see in the photos) so I’m surprised. I thought something was off with the cooling mechanism when I noticed the compressor starting to run more often. Also, the compressor running causes the sides of the fridge to get extremely hot! It’s only been 2.5 weeks to be having so many issues. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I feel like I got scammed.UPDATE: I’ve initiated a return BUT they wanted me to package it up in its original packaging lol! What?? That got tossed/recycled 2 weeks ago! Absolutely ridiculous. I’m sticking this junk in a box and calling it a day. UPS is supposed to pick it up. It’s heavy enough they can’t toss it around so I’m not concerned. But what an inconvenience. Just stay away from this refrigerator! Avoid the disappointment, hassle and waste of time and money.
