This little bad boy fits perfect on our balcony! Set up was relatively painless though I recommend 2 people for it. Remember to not tighten all the screws until the end. We just got our first harvest out of it and are now the proud parents of home grown radishes, herbs and swiss chard. I recommend getting the covers. There are 2. 1 is thick clearish plastic that turns it into a green house. The other is mesh material to keep off bugs. I'm in San Francisco and needed to protect from wind and fog in the evenings. We also get lots of squirrels and birds during the day playing hide and go seek with nits, so the mesh and the other heavier one protected great.

Had to order a replacement because so many parts were broken on arrival. Returning the old one was a pain in the butt because it is heavy and awkward. When second one arrived, I had enough between the two of them to make a whole Vegtrug. Somewhat easy to put together, some parts need two people when assembling. Color is good (I ordered gray). Wood smells good. Liner fits well. I ordered a winter cover which was easy to assemble - still required a power tool to attache. From what I can tell so far it works well. Filled it with dirt and planted some veggies - everything seems happy thus far.

Before I put it together, I did put extra water-barrier protection on the wood to help keep it in good shape for years. I put it together by myself (a senior female), made easy using screw bit on the electric drill. It looks great on my lower deck and I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can plant!

Assembly took a while (over an hour) and required the use of a drill but the time and effort to build was absolutely worth it. It's a beautiful raised bed frame. I've received lots of compliments. Enjoying my first stab at growing vegetables. Note that it required eight (8) bags of soil (1.5 cubic feet each) and two (2) bags of cinder to fill. If I decide to expand my garden, I will definitely purchase another one of these.

I love this! I have MS and balance is an issue. We have placed these on a concrete pad with room for a rolling stool to move inbetween. The only reason this got three stars is one side panel was broken. The package was really abused. I am fortunate that my husband is a genius with tools. He had it fixed, put together and in place in no time.

I bought 3 units and they arrived as agreed. I am not pleased with the quality of the products. Two of the three units were damaged or i believe used returned units. I believe they were returned units because someone used white spackle to glue the plastic feet on the legs of two units and those same 2 units had several broken parts. I bought one of these 2 years ago and had no trouble assembling them. Fortunately for Amazon and the Seller i am very handy and properly repaired all parts and put the Trugs in mygarden. They should be OK but most customers would just return them. I hope the quality of the parts is improved in the near future.

Love to garden but moved into a tiny house community. It fits perfectly on my porch entrance just steps from the kitchen. You can have your cake and eat it too. If I can put it together alone you can too
