This replacement is decent and seems to pick up debris well; maybe not with quite the same power as the OEM, but we were pleasantly surprised.However, be aware that it does not have the slide adjustment to be able to lift and lower the head onto the carpet this made it a little more difficult to vacuum the higher pile carpets we have in our home.

After two years of constant use, our original Dyson carpet-cleaning head stopped working due to a faulty motor. Although out of warranty, Dyson offered to provide a replacement for around $75 (a comparable Dyson replacement was around $110 on Amazon). We opted to go with the Motorhead Cleaner sold by Amazon. In all ways, it is equivalent to the original equipment at a lower cost. If you want to save some money with a very good product, this is the way to go.

Bought this to replace my broken Dyson carpet head. This thing was horrible. You can’t change the height. Pushing it was like pushing a car with all four tires flat. Lesson learned, just stick with the original brand.

Works great on both carpet and wood floors. It's better than my original Dyson brush head.

Works in a pinch, no where near as good as Dyson genuine parts. Does not adjust speeds based on input from motorhead, anti tangle seems to not be well done, parts quickly became rickety and I could hear the internal plastics hitting each other.AGAIN WORKS IN A PINCH especially considering the exorbitant fees Dyson charges.

I find this brush, coupled with a flexible hose attachment, makes it really easy to dust shelves and electronics. This combo is much more effective, and far easier to use, than my Shark hand vac.
