I liked the steam for a few reasons , it is much easier on your hair & doesn't cause near as much damage as heat alone & the curls lasts until you wash your hair out. I live in Houston where , unless you have superhero hair that is immune to humidity & frizz, every day is a BAD Hair Day. I spend hours getting ready just to go out the door & all that time was for Not. So I couldn't believe that, once I got the hang of this curler & it work wonders with my hair that normally doesn't curl , the curls were nearly perfect & w barely any product needed they held for days.It took some practice & watching many You Tube tutorials to figure it out, however , it's worth it.

I love it! It is so simple to use, does not pull my hair out, and curls great! My only suggestion is to make one that doesn’t constantly beep, it’s loud and my hair takes about 15 mins with the constant beeping. One beep when it’s done would be great! I have naturally tight curly hair that I straighten, my hair is course and frizzes like crazy. It doesn’t usually take curl easy or stay once it is curled, but this with the steam option worked so well! and for the most part the curls stayed! Love it!

Bought this for myself thinking it would never work but I will give it a try with my straight hair. OMG it was awesome. Used it before I went to a wedding and also a Christmas Party and got so many compliments on my hair. It is so super easy it was incredible. LOVE IT

My curler doesn't steam :( I tried filling it with distilled water. I see the water also in the hole.. I bought only because of that else I would have gone with another well known brand. Good side is that I have got very long hair and my hair haven't entangled in it yet .. but downside because I have such long hair I cannot get curls right from the roots or near the roots but it overfills the barrel. If it suppose to be used only for curling without caring much about steam part then its an Excellent tool.

I bought this March of last year 2020, I used it exactly 3 times cause it takes forever 45-60min to get long hair curly since you have to use thin strands or it tangles up and sucks you hair in, which hurts to get it out.The curls are beautiful every time and very easy to use. I wanted to use it again which would been the 4th time and after 4 curls I started to smell something burning inside and then the on and off switch wouldn't work anymore, and now I guess it is garbage. Expensive for a 3time use cause you don't get it exchanged anymore :-(

I want my hair to be wave like after hair bun. After read reviews, I decided to give a try this unit. When I received it, I still little confused how to use it, since it's my first time curling hair. Luckily, the instructions come with QR code to link YouTube showed how to use it. I first tried on my daughter's hair, followed YouTube turned on the power add water set time for 8 seconds, temperature for middle, grab 1 inch hair through the unit waited for long beep, I can see the steam came out, released the unit, nice warm curly hair came out, done.

I purchased this with great hesitation after reading the reviews even though a lot of the bad reviews were because of lack of common sense when using this. I have always wanted curly hair but my hair is so fine it just doesn't hold anything for more than 30 mins. I gave it a try when I got it and was very surprised at the curl it left in my hair. I was already in love with it even if it didn't hold for long. I used it on a date night with my husband and did almost my whole head in about 30 mins maybe 40 and spritzed it with some light hairspray just in case and it held all night long. I was so surprised to still see curl in my hair when we got home. I am more than happy with this purchase!!

This curler is awesome! I love this thing! I received it yesterday and tried it this a.m. and there was really no learning curve. I watched a couple of how-to videos and I had no issues. A word of advice......only use small narrow sections of hair and comb out that section before you curl it. Absolutely no crimped frizzy ends like what you get with a traditional curling iron. This also has 3 curl direction settings: left/right/alternate. I used the alternate and it worked great.
