Q: will this get weak over time? it's holding up a light fixture hanging down over my pool table. thank you.

Hello ~ It says it is tested to 70 lbs. I’m using it for craft items. I don’t know how heavy your light is - but use more than one strand (triple or quadruple) and try it out. You should be able to tell if it is going to hold up. Also, if you’re a regular pool player, you can observe if it is weakening or stretching. Hope this helps.
