Keypad & Key Smart Door Lock, 50 User Codes, Waterproof, Auto Lock - Matte Black

I recently purchased this smart lock, and so far, it’s been doing exactly what I needed it to do. The installation was straightforward, and the keypad functionality works smoothly, making it a convenient upgrade from a traditional lock. For the price, it’s a solid value—definitely one of those “you get what you pay for” situations, but in a good way.That said, the materials don’t feel particularly high-end. The lock housing and buttons seem a bit lightweight, and while everything functions fine now, I wouldn’t be surprised if it starts to show wear with heavy use over time. It’s not flimsy, but it doesn’t give off that ultra-durable vibe either.If you’re looking for a smart lock that’s affordable and gets the job done without a lot of bells and whistles, this is a great option. Just keep in mind that it may not be the most long-lasting solution out there. For now, I’d still give it a 5 out of 5—just with the understanding that it’s a budget-friendly pick, not a premium one.

We ordered this for our shared building office door. So far this has been a success. The only thing we don’t love is that we have to remember to turn off auto lock between business times as they vary by day. It looks good, is very secure and easy to use.

Had to return the first one because of ripped connector. The replacement worked great and performed as advertised.

An amazing piece of craftsmanship. I'm not very handy at this type of thing, but replacement of an old key style lock (hard to use now because of arthritis) was easy and this is much easier to use; no key to struggle with every time. I love it.

The overall aesthetics, design, and function of this knob set are all excellent. The bolt, locking, and security attributes all seem both precision and heavy duty.The setup or “programming” of passcodes is simple - and easily implemented.There were only 2 “curiosities” I personally encountered. Since I was interested only in a fast installation requiring no advanced features, I did not track down the further information to answer my questions.So for what it is worth…I found the two (knob skirt flange to door surface) rubber sealing gaskets (inner and outer) to be a PITA to install, so they lay perfectly “flat”.On each seal, there is a flat “smooth” side - and its other side has a slight groove (or “track”) in them - which I “assumed” faces the knob, allowing its perimeter edge to “ride in it” - creating a seal between it and the door surface. The assembly drawing provided is not specific enough in detail to confirm or contradict this assertion.However, my best effort to hold the seal in proper positioning - with that track to flange relationship - (to remain perfectly in place around the entire circumference) while tightening the mounting screws - failed.And although there is a continuous seal of the rubber around the knob skirt, it is not uniformly flat and evenly spaced in its width around the flanges, in appearance.This was the case both on the interior and exterior surfaces. Therefore it may be that the seal should be inverted - such that its smooth side faces the knob, while the side with the channel mates to the door surface.My other unsolved mystery was in a failed attempt to successfully program a time period of “delaying the automatic re-locking after an unlock” (using my code) - was successfully achieved.I may be misunderstanding the feature description. But In following the sequence written in the instructions, the lock always indicated an error (red) before I even completed the sequence of codes to be inputted.So setting aside at least one of the fancy features (that I never considered anyway until I read the instructions) this is a very nice knob set.Its materials, design, feel, installation, and security all seem to be of very high quality and never hint that the unit (like most all items now in our market) is made in China.I do recommend this model for anyone wanting this feature set in a door knob that adequately secures your home, yet allows simple passcode access to those granted via the correct code.

I really like the fact this allowed me to retain my double keyed dead bolt. The rubberized grip is very nice also. It does also come with two keys.Out of curiosity I checked the battery and at 4 months they still show a full charge.Installation was a breeze and it works really well.It requires a master code to add codes. There is a factory master code which can be change by the end user. The master code you choose will replace the factory code and if you did by chance forget your code you can reset and restore the factory master code and start over.Entering your code will allow you to enter and defaults to locked once you close the door. There is an override code sequence if you want to keep the door unlocked all day. At the end of that period you just hit any key to restore the auto lock.They allow a generous number of code for entry, you just need the master code to add them.I did have a problem with the latch mechanism and contacted the company and after a brief troubleshooting session they sent out a replacement at no cost to me.There wasn't any problem with the actual door knob, only the latch.Overall I'm very satisfied with this product.

Rey easy to install and does exactly what I expected. I would definitely buy again.

I received this lock in December 2024. Went to my shed today (April 2025) and it was dead. Long story short.I went through all the steps to fix it, still dead.Went on their website for a chat. They told me what information they needed sent to them for warranty. Sent a email message to their support with information and about 6 hours I received a response telling me they are sending me a new lock. I don’t even have to send the old lock back.I don’t know about most people but I think that is Awesome!!!So I about 4 business days I will be compensated.This tells me this company is a good one.Now I’m telling you this company is a good one.Don’t be afraid to buy from this group.
