The price was excellent for an expander set with more straights than curves and several unique pieces - exactly what I was looking for. That said, quality matched the price - these track pieces aren't cut perfectly - some are chipped and we have to do a fair amount of trying this piece and then that piece to get one that will work with other higher quality track (several different kinds). Ultimately, if you play enough, you get this track to work well. We actually ended up with some pretty good learning lessons by having to try the track in different ways so this ends up not being a bad thing if you are working with your kids. I would definitely buy this again given the price - the negatives don't outweigh the benefits.

Quality is not the same as the Thomas wooden railway tracks and the Melissa and Doug tracks. Some pieces don't even fit, have splinters, and are overall subpar. I bought this set because I wanted smaller pieces to connect the ones we already have and make new configurations for my son. The Thomas ones are ridiculously overpriced but this set is not worth the cheap price tag.

Great wooden track pieces. All pieces were smooth and sanded, with no rough areas or splintering. At this price point, it quadrupled the size of my child's layout, and he absolutely love them.A lot of reviews brought the quality into question - I do not see a difference between these and any of the name brand tracks (except the huge price difference!) If the bride lets us get more track, and completely take over the house, we'll be reordering!

This set of tracks fit with the BRIO pieces I already owned easily and provided many more building options than we already had. I have no complaints other than our battery-operated wooden track Thomas the Train doesn't run well on the tracks - then again it doesn't run great on tracks in general. I also noticed that most of the trains we have will not fit under the bridge pieces if you run a track there. Otherwise, it was nice to find a much less expensive track set.

Cheaper tracks for the Thomas set! Also, there are a couple of pieces in here that I LOVE - one has two holes and one has two protrusions, so there's not quite as much puzzling over the connections. And the splitter pieces don't have a toggle to switch the directions of the trains, which makes it easier for my two year old to use.

Thought we had enough train tracks until my son got a turn table, so we bought these tracks. We had a bunch of different brands Thomas the Train, Imaginarium, and kidkraft, and these tracks are compatible with those brands so now we have tracks coming out of our ears.

Very Good value option for wooden train tracks, but some of the pieces have a small chip or a rough edge in places. Overall the tracks are completely functional, there is just a slight quality variance when compared with higher end tracks.

Good overall set. Only issues are quality control flaws: 1. Occasional splintering of the wood. 2. The connectors are not consistent/precisely cut so some pieces have to be forced in quite hard to fit with Thomas pieces. But they hold up well and provide lots of options

This kit is cheaper than many of the brand name kit, Ave for good reason. Many pieces were rough due to insufficient or spotty sanding. A couple pieces had cracks or other imperfections. Some pieces to not fit well with our other sets. That being said, for the price, I'm reasonably happy with this as a supplement to our other sets. I would not buy it as a gift, and I would not buy it if I didn't already own other quality sets.

We bought this to add on to a track set we inherited. I believe the old track was Imaginarium brand. This new track worked with the old track easily! We also have some new Thomas train tracks. While this set does work with it, it was not easy. I definitely prefer the Playbees track over the Thomas track as the Thomas track will not go on our old track easily either. This Playbees track set is great quality and good value!

This is a great product to combine with your other tracks but they do not fit as well as some of the other tracks. They're quite tight which can be a good or bad thing.Makes the connections more secure, but harder (or impossible) for a child to play on their own and interconnect pieces

Good starter set. 5 junctions and a bridge is niceBridge isn't very steady though. Some pieces fit tight. Overall, good for the price.We had Ikea set and its not really compatible, even though they say it is, unless you want to hammer pieces together.

Very good set for the price.I found that some of the pieces did not fit properly with the imaginarium (toysrus) sets. The cut on the pegs of these sets is a little bit longer in some areas so they are tight with my set, although I was able to push them in with a little force.Overall it is a set that I would purchase again.
