Excellent product
I play classical guitar and wanted to move away from using the traditional foot-stool ; this is the perfect alternative ( I have also the Tappert support which is OK and adjustable...but the sucker-pads can come away occasionally). Looking at what is available I opted for this one although it appeared the most expensive. These things are always a bit of a gamble...although there is the option of returning if necessary .....as it happens it works wonderfully well...its light-weight and very comfortable , appears well made too and exactly the right size (there is an option of Large or Medium.....I opted for the large....the medium is marginally lower)) .I've just enjoyed 45 mins practice using it and am very happy.

Much Better Compared to a Foot Rest
I got the large, less-priced version, given the positive reviews this product and the size has received. Everyone who's written reviews for this product are spot on with regards to their experience and opinions. I wasn't sure about the size and I first thought the large size could be too much of an elevation for my guitar, but after using it for a few times, I found that its not the case. I'm glad that I got large size and its the perfect size for me 5' 8" frame I guess. As some users have pointed out, it has tendency to slip and I've experienced that a few times. But after a few uses, I've figured out how to keep it stable. When I use foot rests, I used to get a discomfort in my upper back and with this, that doesn't happen. I can keep my composure correctly. The product itself look quality and well made. I usually keep mine inside a drawer, because my dog can easily confuse this with a toy that she can play with.

One size does not fit all...
These cushions are more and more popular, but they have one very serious flaw: unlike footrests they are not adjustable. There are two sizes, small and large and I purchased the large. It is still about three inches too low for my use. I recommend trying before buying.

I love it
This is a very nice product. However, the thick end of the foam is thicker than I expected, and I wish I’d got the regular size, instead of the jumbo size. The construction is beautiful—much better than the cheaper Chinese product. These work really well, but I find that it slides around on my pants leg more than I’d like. I bought a roll of that rubber mat meant to be put into drawers to keep things from sliding, and a roll of double stick tape. I cut the rubber to fit and taped in onto the bottom of the pad. So far it is working well. I have long arms and can’t comfortably cross my legs and don’t want to use a foot stool. This solves all of those problems.

I like these a lot
Imagine a footstool that isn’t hard to carry around, and is comfortable to use. Now open your eyes and take a look at this cushion.I never liked using a footstool, so when I saw one of these, I just had to have it. Highly recommended.

Great for firm 19" chairs
Works great for this 6 foot, 180 lb. man, when I'm sitting in a regulation straight back chair where my thigh and lower leg are in a right-angle configuration. Sitting on a surface that is a couple of inches lower so that my knees are a little higher, I think the smaller version of this would be more usable. Since by and large I don't live or perform my life in regulation chairs (seat 19 inches from floor), I may well by the smaller version too.

An excellent alternative to the magnetic or suction brace for classical guitarists!
I got this because I didn't want to affix magnets or suction cups to my classical guitars, and I'm pretty happy with it. The large cushion provides elevation of the guitar away from the body, increasing ergonomics and improving the resonance and sustain of the instrument. The material of the cushion seems to be pretty good quality, and the underside is tacky enough to keep the cushion from sliding around. The only detracting quality for me is that I wish it had a bit more of a slant.

Apply some of the energy that you've had to spend on holding the instrument toward playing the music!
I have been playing for over 50 years, spent many years earning my living as a performer, and used to rely on straps or footstools to hold the instruments in good positions during the many thousands of hours of practicing that come along with that. I never use straps or footstools any more; I now have 6 of these cushions scattered across my home and all the other houses where I spend significant time. They provide a much more balanced and neutral body position for playing, without having your spine and pelvis twisted up from a footstool, or having the weight of the instrument hung from your neck and shoulder. The result is less stress, less fatigue, and the ability to keep the instrument in a good ergonomic position without effort. They're not just for classical guitar players, either: I'm a jazz guy who plays a variety of instruments: solid body, thin hollow body, traditional F-hole archtop, flat-top steel strings, and sometimes a classical guitar. The small cushion works well for some instruments, but the smaller-bodied solid "boards" are positioned better with the larger model. The more time you spend playing, the higher the probability that you'll deal with an occupational injury from doing that — symphony players have about a 30% rate of partial or total disability. These cushions (or other support devices) and a careful concern for good biomechanics can help you to play for your whole life without getting hurt as much.

Completely prevents arm cramp issues!
Prior to using this cushion I suffered terrible cramps in left arm anytime I played more than 20 minutes. So relieved it completely rid my arm cramps and can play for hours without cramping. I bought another one for my guitar teacher. She loves it and no longer uses step prop.
