Wood Ear Mushroom (Auricularia Auricula-judae) Liquid Culture Syringe Sample for Mushroom Cultivation Growing on Grain or Agar

I bought 3 strains, and made a large batch of agar solution to work with, worked with a sill air box and a flow hood. The white enokitake took wonderful hold, rizomorphic mycelium. 10 dishes, no contam. Wine caps, same thing maybe a little less aggressive growth. With the lions mane, every single dish had bacterial contamination which leads me to believe the stringe was the source of the issue. Unfortunately it was the lions mane i was most excited for 😅 If it weren’t for that I’d recommend this seller but this was the first case ive ever had with a contaminated syringe.

Edit: this is the wrong species this is some sort of regular oyster mushroom, and I'd bet my lunch money it's simply Pleurotis Ostreatus. The stipe is not central, like hypsizygus ulmarius. it's definitely not the right species (or even genus). As a side note, the spores from this culture gave me the worst asthma I've ever experienced. Don't recommend, and challenge its identity altogether.

I bought several cultures from other suppliers, and this was the only one that did not grow. I e-mailed the supplier and yet have to get a reply.

This product is useless. No wonder the tubes are 3 for 2. I recieved 3 syringes all were mainly liquid with about 20-30 percent mycelium. My review on this was deleted and I was notified so hopefully this one isn't so buyers are beware. Etsy or other local sellers have better

I added this syringe to two half gallon mason jars of liquid culture. Within 2 weeks I had great growth in both jars and have already inoculated grain spawn that’s ready for fruiting! Great spores

The liquid culture needle was not sterilized or the LC was bad. Unfortunately no spawn green and horribly infected..I'm done with edible mushrooms for now I want to try a really good "magic"mushroom grow. Idk I'll see if I wanna chance it again😞

This was my first try at mushroom cultivation. It hasn’t been long enough to get mushrooms yet but I was able to use this syringe to make grain spawn successfully. :)

I'm a beginner & i was unaware that spores shouldn't be used with corn they work best with rice but it was too late. its sunday i inoculated my corn on friday & i already have growth. I am a very happy customer.
