This hook remover is great for its price. I use it for bass fishing and works great and gets a great grip on the hook. Probably best for fish under 15 lbs not sure if will be as effective with the big fish. It has saved many bass lives. Definitely would recommend

I ordered these hook removers, and they came a day earlier than expected. I got to try them out this last weekend, and they were extremely easy to use, and held the hooks better than any other hook remover I've ever used. The price I paid was less than just one of the cheaply made hook removers, and this came with 2 in the package. Plus it had some nice little carabiners that let you clip them onto things so you always know where they are

Used it this weekend on a limit of rainbow trout and in most it broke off the hook - just snapped it in two at the shank. Maybe it works best on larger fish and not pan fish?

Works great and nice to have in the boat! Light weight and easier to use than needle nose pliers.

Wasn't sure how well they would work and will take some practice to get in a smoth rhythm with it but long as the mouth is big enough they work decent
