Vornado VFAN Alchemy Vintage Fan, Seafoam

This thing is the bomb! The styling is gorgeous and it's quality made. Kinda heavy, but that's quality. The only thing I REALLY wish it that it had a remote control.

Loved this fan! It looks amazing and is quiet. I got this for my kids room because i wanted a good fan since it runs every night. I plan on getting one for my room next!

The unit I received made horrendous bearing noises, and naturally I was put out. I contacted customer service on Thursday and explained the issue. This is a known problem. Customer service took my information and shipped out a replacement immediately. Kudos to Caitlyn at Vornado.The fan is solidly built and is almost an art form. Vornado stands behind its products.

Piece of junk . Out of the box it made noise that only got worse . It's a grinding noise that comes from deep inside . RRRRT RRRRRRRT RRRRRRRT clink clink RRRRRRRT BRRRRRR etc . Low speed is the worst . 129.00 bucks down the toilet . They spent more money on the Box than they did on the motor .

This fan is perfect for any room. The noise level is just like any other fan. It looks great! It definitely cools down a room. Would definitely recommend.

Fans are a must for me, especially during sleep. I own the Vornado black flat panel fan and think it's a great fan. The VFAN's have a great look and decided to buy the VFAN Jr. Quality of manufacturing is impressive. The issue is that the fan motor/blades rotate at a noticeable irregular rate. Creating an inconsistent wind noise. I returned the Jr. for Alchemy, thinking that a more expensive series would make the difference. To my disbelief, the same issue occurred. In both cases, I ran the fans overnight to see if the needed a "break in" period but irregular fan speed persisted. My wife also noticed and agreed and when does that happen! ;) Maybe it's just us, maybe 2 fans that were bad apples, maybe others haven't noticed the irregular speed. Like I said, I love my other flat panel Vornado. Just thought this needed to mentioned.

I have a giant one of these and a little one of these, and they are the most energy/cost effective way available to more cool air through an older house. My 20 year old Silver Swan bit the dust this year, so it was time to add a new fan or two.The medium size circulator is pushing air conditioned coolness from the front of the house to the middle where another circulator is keeping the living room cool while cooling the kitchen. It is 90 degrees and muggy. The kitchen is pleasant. Recommend. Would buy again.
