Excellent enterprise grade camera and excellent enterprise grade mic
Simply best !!You can compare this with Logitech C920 and this is EQUALLY GOOD as Logitech C920.Summary Review::1) Camera Quality - Excellenet2) Mic Quality - Excellent3) Noise cancelleation - Excellent {No background noise at all}3) Really covers very wide portion in 1080p (Full HD mode) / Coverage in 720p is also very good4) Face detection and Auto-focus - Good5) Auto Light correction - Good6) Installation and setup - Very easy {Just plug in the USB in your laptop and give it 10 seconds}7) Build Quality - Excellent {Definitely looks to be built for heavy usage. }8) USB wire cable length - Suffiicient enough to reach to laptops / desktops9) Shows the mic and webcam sepaaretly in the settings so very easy to choose in all apps like Zoom / Google Meet / MS Teams10) Doesnt utilise any much CPU so if you are planning to have long office / personal video calls for longer duration then it's a breeze. This is really something I would buy again and would also recommend for my friends or colleagues.Quite happy with my purchase!!

Quality Camera
Prior to buying this camera I tried a cheaper one costing around £25 which gave a very poor image and the microphone was terrible. By contrast this camera gave a very good image out of the box in Windows 10. The settings can be further tweaked in something like OBS to give an excellent image. The microphone is also very good and gives good clear speech on Zoom calls. There are one or two cons but they're quite minor. The camera is very wide angle. If you have it mounted on your laptop screen it's perfectly fine but I have mine on my pc monitor and so I'm sitting a little further away and it makes me look quite distant. I can zoom in in OBS so it's not a problem for me. The autofocus is a bit meh. I found that it tends to "hunt" while it tries to maintain focus which is a little annoying. In practice I found that everything from a couple of feet away to infinity was in focus and so in normal use it really isn't any benefit. The only time it would come in handy is if you wanted to hold something close to the camera, maybe closer than one foot maybe and it would focus down to a couple of inches away. I have it turned off and don't miss it. The camera comes with a small plastic flap to cover the lens when not in use. This comes separate from the camera and you are supposed to fix it in place to the front of the camera with it having self adhesive strips. It looked to me like it would cover a small sensor to the side of the lens. It seems a bit of a design afterthought and I chose not to bother with it. Apart from these minor quibbles I'm very happy with this camera and would happily recommend it.

AUSDOM AF640 Full HD Business Web Camera
Does what it says at a fraction of the cost of a "certain" market leader!Autofocus OK, good low-light capability for its price. The 'privacy shutter' on mine was a stick-on flap thing I never bothered with as I unplug mine anyhow when not in use.Recommended highly!Great HD quality webcam with a decent length wire with USB on the end.I just plugged it into my PC (Win10 x64) and it worked fine.No software with it.It also works well on a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian OS if anyone is interested. Can't go wrong really at this price!Inside most OS there are some settings you can easily tweak to improve it if needed.Try OBS Studio (FREE) on a PC for example.

Great Sound, great picture
This webcam is very easy to use and produces really good results. The first time I used it, it was noticeable that both picture and sound quality were better than many of the other participants in our Zoom session. As it was a photographic competition, the picture quality was important and did not disappoint. Pictures were sharp and colours were accurate. Other meetings, since then, needed good sound and again this little gem did not disappoint.

No zoom capability
I paid 76 pounds and it has just reduced slightly in price since then. I'm not an expert, just someone who has tried various webcams and I suppose this one is marginally better than previous webcams I've used. Plus points are: good clear HD picture, tripod mount, good sound quality (people tell me, but I use a separate microphone anyway). Actually I think I can hear some "white noise" from its microphone but not too bad. Minus points are: no software included. Although the camera is plug and play and will be recognised by your computer, if you want to adjust the light or colour balance you will probably need to download a program from somewhere. OBS-Studio is free, but needs some patience to configure. Second minus point: no zoom facility. My laptop webcam has a zoom facility and I assumed that all modern webcams have that (if anyone thinks this one has a zoom facility please comment on this review!). Third minus point: there is a stick-on plastic "privacy cover" which looks neat but unfortunately obstructs the blue light that tells you the camera is live. So probably best not to stick on the privacy cover and pull out the USB plug if you want to ensure privacy. On balance I'm happy with it but if I do need to zoom, I will have to use one of my other webcams.Postscript: in the end I gave up with this webcam and purchased a Logitech C922 which does much the same thing but is easier to work with. Logitech camera settings software seems to work only with Logitech products (perhaps that is predictable) but Logitech software makes all adjustments extremely easy and straightforward. The C922 looks similar to the Ausdom and has the useful tripod mount. At this stage in the Covid crisis, webcam prices have gone down sharply.
