I bought 21 of these for a birthday celebration - from this manufacturer and the other one that makes the identical button.The orders from both manufacturers came mixed, some with an on/off switch and some with a plastic tab between the battery that needs to be removed before use. The on/off switch is useful, so you don't accidentally set it off, but I don't see an easy way to specify that. Regardless, of the 21 I ordered, only one was poor quality and crackly; the rest were awesome! They are super easy to record - just speak into it or you can even play a video or sound on your phone and it records just fine. I separately had stickers printed that fit on top so they were personalized - HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Super fun!!

This is a great device in that it's easy to use and overall works well. I bought it for a disabled kid so the kid could say things like "good morning" when pressed. I love that it's small enough to fit in my pocket but big enough to be seen and used easily with the palm of the hand. My only complaints are that the sound quality isn't that great and that there is a technicality with the playback. If the button is repeatedly hit, it will interupt and then restrart the message. I'd personally wish the whole message could play through first so you hear "good morning" instead of "goo-goo-goo" (because said kid is naturally excited and hits the button a bunch of times). But then again this is not in anyway a speech device and given it's size and purpose it's clearly meant primarily for entertainment value. That said this is still a great little device and I still recommend it.

Arrived quickly and exactly as advertised. The button is not very sensitive, however, for those attempting to use this with students/people who already use adaptive AAC switches in the classroom/daily life. Itt requires a stronger push that those who struggle with occupational therapy skills would need help achieving.

It is extremely hard to set a sound to play and then no matter how load the sound was it played extremely quit. The product is crap.

I bought this to send a verbal message to my nephew . I thought it would be nice for him to hear my voice since we live in different states

I needed to have a ring tone happen on a cue for a skit. I bought this but the sound quality is poor. It sounded like a bad recording of a telephone ringing. Oh well. I keep wondering if I should return it for one with better quality or if they’re all like this.

Couldn’t hear the thing! Didn’t work well at all! Didn’t last long either!! Don’t waste your money!
